This ball of floof is Popcorn! She’s a 4 year old Lionhead who lives with her human Dad, Candy and her best friend Roxie. Popcorn’s favourite things to do include throwing cardboard tubes around and climbing on people! Her favourite thing to eat is lettuce! Yum! She hates being picked up but that doesn’t stop her from enjoying a good snuggle!

This is Gideon, a rescued Cottaintail that couldn’t be released back in to the wild due to injuries. Gideon had to have one of his front legs amputated due to injuries when he was 6 years old. He also wore a bandage regularly on a back leg to help alleviate the pain from sore hocks which he got from a bad injury that caused his back leg to seize at the ankle joint. Despite this, Gideon still had an amazing personality. He loved to give kisses and binky and zoom around his house! His favourite toy was a jingle ball which he loved to scratch at or push around the house with his nose. Sadly Gideon passed away in December, just shy of his 9th birthday but it sounds to us like he was given quite an amazing life!

Meet Milo! You may remember his pal Vegas featured a few weeks ago on Bunday Sunday! Milo is a 1 1/2 year old white and grey American bunny that xBunnieCare adopted from a small family run pet store. Milo was very shy and not very friendly at first but is now extremely confident, always wanting to be front and center stage. He doesn’t like to be picked up but that doesn’t stop him from wanting attention!

Meet the adorable Jefferson who’s looking for his Forever Home!  Jeffykins (as Iris refers to him) is a sweet bun who was born in a shelter last January in a litter of 8.  All of his littermates have been adopted out since except for Jefferson who Iris is currently fostering.  Iris says Jefferson is an independent bunny who prefers to live alone but who lives free range in her house, having excellent litterbox skills and enjoys free run time in the courtyard.  Jefferson is an absolute sweetie and there’s nothing cuter than a bunny who’s mastered his ‘froggie’ legs!

I would also like to commend Iris on her aid with the UVIC rabbit crisis.  I followed that fairly closely and never felt prouder when several Rabbit Lovers fought to get those rabbits to rescues and sanctuaries.

This is two year old Vegas who was adopted from a shelter last year. He was badly mistreated by his previous owners and suffered from ear mites and stomach problems. In the beginning, his new family couldn’t even touch him because the mites made it too painful. After about 3 months of living in his new forever home, Vegas was given a clean bill of health! His family is still astounded by how gentle and loving he is considering how mistreated he was in the past.

Stay tuned for Vegas’ bunny friend Milo appearing on Sunday, July 22nd!

Meet Wanda and her bonded buddy Moose.  Wanda is Robyn’s first rabbit and still part of their family.  Moose was a stray on the streets who was attacked and who Robyn adopted from the Toronto Humane Society.  He’s had multiple surgeries on his neck to remove abscesses but when he developed an abscess in the nerves of his eye it caused him to go blind.  Robyn says being blind doesn’t slow Moose down though!  He still loves to binky and play and is incredibly social.  Wanda takes good care of her husbun by grooming, snuggling, staying near him and letting him eat and drink first.  Robyn thinks Moose would be lost without Wanda by his side and considers them both to be very special buns!

Robyn is also the owner of ~Bales4Bunnies~ supplying fresh timothy hay to bunnies in the Peterborough area for affordable prices!

A beautiful close-up of Fluff Eggplant Lee or Fluff E. Lee who now spends her time frolicking around the Rainbow Bridge.  Fluff E. Lee was a beautiful agouti dwarf mix who spent her life with her Husbun General Bun Ears Lee before passing away due to complications with pneumonia at the age of 9.  Fluff E. Lee was Kara’s first rabbit who she describes as being dainty, graceful, classy and one amazing bun.
